And, Chris Stolee is wondering why we can send men all the way to the moon, but most people with less than optimal eyesight still have to wear metal or plastic contraptions that rest on their noses and strap around each ear.
Sure, there's lasik, but that only works for some people and is still a surgical procedure with some risk. There is also the option of contact lenses, but again there are health issues. Come on scientists - how about doing less work on cloning animals and more work on fixing our eyeballs?
Chris Stolee thinks it's about time scientists do more of the research that the general public wants them to do.
